Salsa Gigs - Taught by Sam Gill & Jenny Gill

Why the Salsa Challenge Method of Learning Salsa Dancing is Right for YOU:

*   There are only ten basic elements (foot patterns) for all salsa dance moves
*   Learning these ten elements one by one with solid technique and style will carry a dancer through all the variations and combinations of these ten elements
*   Each element is presented in a detailed breakdown
*   Style is an important aspect of this approach because style is inseparable from good technique and it usually performs an important function as well as looking great
*   The Salsa Challenge method makes learning easy because most learning is simply adding variations on what you already know or putting what you know together in combinations
*   Many variations and combinations are taught for each of the ten basic elements
*   The precise composition of lead/follow is carefully taught for every element as well as all the variations
*   Follows are given as much attention as leads
*   Salsa Challenge has developed a special technique to develop the art of partnering called the Salsa Connection
*   All partnering elements of the dance are taught in terms of the Salsa Connection
*   Tips and tests are frequently given to assure that you are learning correctly and that you will avoid common errors
*   Skill drills are given to assure that you are actually learning
*   The Salsa Challenge method makes it easy for leads to remember moves
*   The Salsa Challenge method works well for intermediate and advanced dancers because it makes it easy to analyze any move you see in terms of the ten basic elements
